We are a small Web Design Company specialising in websites for people with a business AND a passion. Previous clients include martial artists, photographers and travel writers all of whom wanted and recieved a unique website to showcase their work.
If you want to take the bold step of making your hobby into your career (or indeed already have), what better way to move ahead than with a fully personalised website to showcase your work.
Having a background in both the technical and creative, our designer Steve Batcup uses the work of the client to its full potential, by treating each project as a collaboration, creating a website that serves not simply as a platform for the work but as an extension of it. We achieve our success by shaping the website around the clients work, which is often done by keeping the design simple yet stylish in order for the work to shine.
However if on certain pages, more advanced design work is needed in order to 'jazz-up' what is on-screen (such as a product list, or weblink page), then custom made graphics can also be added. All designed by us, with your input every step of the way and at no extra cost.
Our collaborative process starts with an informal discussion about what you as the client want from a website and how you envisage the final result.
We ask you if you have any ideas in mind regarding the style (artistic styles, preferred colour schemes / fonts, other websites) on which to base the design of the website. If not then this can be left to us or changed at a later stage. We also discuss which of our packages will best suit your needs and any other technical or creative requirements you may have.
Many clients simply do not have the time to be involved, but many, given the opportunity, prefer to be there every step of the way to comment on the design process.
Our process for this involves the upload of the work-so-far to a temporary page on our server, which you can then view and feedback your comments via email regarding changes to be made, things you like, things you don't like, etc. This process is done usually once a day at the end of a work session.
Once we have a fully designed site, payment is made in full and when this is received the site will be uploaded.
